GEC provides a fully qualified team of construction engineers, several with over 25 years of experience, a chief construction and materials engineer with over 35 years of experience, and in excess of 14 senior resident project representatives who are certified by the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LDOTD) in asphalt plant and roadway inspection as well as portland cement concrete plant and paving, embankment and base construction.  The firm has a full complement of engineering disciplines including civil, structural, soils, drainage, hydrologic engineers, and drafting personnel available to provide additional technical support.

Construction phase engineering services have been provided for projects that vary in size and type from multi-lane interstate highway systems with complex interchanges and bridges to two-lane rural highways and city streets, sports facilities, office buildings, recreational facilities, parking, utilities, and other engineering works.  This group has successfully designed and/or provided construction phase services for numerous clients such as LaDOTD, East Baton Rouge Parish, Jefferson Parish, City of New Orleans, New Orleans Regional Transit Authority, Greater New Orleans Expressway Commission, Louisiana Stadium and Exposition District, and others.  These projects, combined with the extensive experience of individuals while with Federal and state agencies and private firms, give GEC a powerful and wide-ranging capability in the field of construction engineering.
