Under contract to Louisiana TIMED Managers, Inc. (LTM) GEC’s team of environmental engineers, biologists, geologists and certified storm water inspectors provided storm water planning, design, permitting and compliance services for the construction of 35 project segments comprising approximately 260 miles of new highways throughout Louisiana. For each project, GEC provided turnkey services necessary to obtain Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) General Permit Number LAR100000 Storm Water General Permit for Construction Activities – Five Acres or More permits, including the preparation of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP) and weekly compliance monitoring, assistance and reporting.
